Engineer Robert Petrilak Joins Multidyne

His most recent position was senior hardware engineer for QuStream Corp.

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has appointed 16-year industry veteran Robert Petrilak to the newly created position of senior staff engineer. He will assist the MultiDyne engineering team in the development of fiber-optic transport for the new DVI evolutionary products.

“Rob has an extensive background in the broadcast engineering field, and a proven track record for the development of successful products,” said Jim Jachetta, senior vice president of engineering. “MultiDyne is in a growth position, and Rob’s engineering expertise will be a benefit to the timely roll out of our new generation of products.”

Petrilak had been a design engineer and engineering manager for Ditech Routing Systems for eight years, leaving to join PESA Switching Systems in 2000 as an OEM engineering product manager.

His most recent position was senior hardware engineer for QuStream Corp.

He earned a BSEE from Florida Institute of Technology.
