DSE2010: Lanner to Demo Intel ATOM-Powered Fanless Signage Platform

Lanner Electronics will showcase its recently released released LEC-7030 fanless digital signage platform, powered by the Intel ATOM, at Digital Signage Expo, Feb. 23-25 in Las Vegas.

Lanner LEC-7030 digital signage platform When equipped with industrial grade components (HDD and RAM) the LEC-7030 can withstand temperatures within the range of -10 to 55 degrees C (14 to 131 degrees F). With commercial components, the range is -5 to 45 degrees C (23 to 113 degrees F).

It’s built around the Intel 945GSE+ICH7M chipset with an Intel GMA 950 Video Controller. A single SODIMM memory socket can carry up to 2GB of RAM and there’s space for a 2.5-inch SATA HDD. It also has a 2.0mm 44-pin IDE for a Disk on Module Device.

It packs four USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232 COMs, one Digital I/O (4 in, 4 out) and a LAN RJ45 GbE port. There is a VGA and a DVI-D port to connect the LEC-7030 to a display or projector and stereo in/out. It has an S-Video input that can read media for an alternate source and output it directly through the VGA port.
