TSA Seeks Audiovisual Equipment Installation

All AV resources and tools needed to conduct executive-level meetings

The Transportation Security Administration is seeking the installation of audiovisual equipment and accessories at the TSA Regional Director’s Atlanta Field Office, College Park, Ga.
The installation will be in a conference room at the facility and will require all audiovisual resources and tools needed to conduct executive-level meetings, the TSA said. Details of the installation are on the statement of work, but some highlights are:

  • The projection system’s resolution will be a wide extended graphics array producing at least 4000 lumens and be mounted on the ceiling, according to the TSA.
  • The audio system will be comprised of a series of high quality, ceiling-mounted speakers connected to an audio mixer/processor with acoustic echo cancellation and integrated telephone hybrid, the agency said.
  • The control system will enable any end user easy control and operation of the multi-media system with the push of a button, the TSA said.

The procurement is a set-aside for small businesses, and vendors are to comply with Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements.
The solicitation was originally issued July 10, but has since been amended with a new solicitation date of July 22, and the deadline for responses was changed to Aug. 1 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time. The solicitation number is HSTS05-13-Q-AOD001.
