The Hawaiian National Guard is seeking bids for the configuration and installation of audiovisual equipment, as well as the relocation of existing equipment at the Hawaii Joint Operation Center, 3949 Diamond Head Road, Honolulu.

The work is to be done in a phased approach with phase one focused on upgrading existing equipment as well as establishing a basic operational capability for one of the rooms in the JOC. Much of the hardware for this project has already been purchased and it needs to be integrated within the existing systems. The work required is broken out by rooms, and the contract will stipulate the equipment for each room as well as what is expected of the contractor.

A site visit is scheduled for July 19. Visitors must be at the Diamond Head Road location (Battery 407-inside Diamond Head Crater) by 9 a.m. that date, or they may not be granted access. In addition, the government will accept questions on this opportunity until Aug. 8 at 4 p.m. Hawaiian Standard Time, but it will not accept questions by phone.

The solicitation was issued July 12, and the deadline for responses is Aug. 14 at 4 p.m. Hawaiian Standard Time. The solicitation number is W912J6-13-T-0010.
