TelVue Corp., which provides broadcast equipment to public, education and government channels, is “copying” a Government Video feature—the PEG Channel Spotlight—and is going to highlight public access channels on the TelVue website, says Paul Andrews, senior vice president of sales and marketing.

During an interview with Andrews for a story in the February issue of Government Video, he said, “One of the things you guys do is you highlight public access stations. We’re copying from you. We’ve decided that we’re going to highlight a public access station. Visit our website [and] you’ll see we started in January to highlight a public access station every month.”

When GV started PEG Channel Spotlight I hoped it would be popular. This shows to me that the magazine is being read and is having an impact.
