U.S. House of Representatives Communications and Technology Subcommittee Chairman Greg Walden, R-Ore., says a hearing on how to free more federal spectrum for commercial use will be conducted by the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology during September. “The subcommittee will continue to examine how both federal agencies and commercial wireless carriers might benefit from more efficient government use of spectrum,” he said in the announcement. Nonetheless, no date for the hearing has been established, so stay tuned, I’ll post the date as soon as it is available.
