Don't want a bulky, noisy lamp in the same room as your projector? Don't even want a technician, who could see some top-secret stuff, in the room changing out projector parts? Or do you want to put a projector where it's almost impossible to reach?
projectiondesign's Remote Light Source enables the sleekest projector configurations yet. projectiondesign was at InfoComm with the patent-pending Remote Light Source (RLS) for the FR12 projector.
The new invention puts the lamps, thermal management and maintenance away from the projector head to a rack-mount unit up to 100 feet away. Light gets carried to the projector head on a rugged line the company calls a Liquid Light Guide.
The flexible LLG uses a water-based liquid to transfer the light to the projector head, so you can project from almost anywhere and do the maintenance rooms from a couple of away.
