NewTek Inc. is extending its trade-up offer for its TriCaster portable live production system.
NewTek TriCaster XD300 Customers can trade up any TriCaster system purchased between Jan. 15 and Dec. 23, 2009, for full purchase price credit toward the new TriCaster, model XD300, previewed at IBC 2009 in Amsterdam.
The XD300 is scheduled to ship in late 2009.
With TriCaster, users can simultaneously produce, live-stream, broadcast and project a network-style production. A single operator or small team can produce a live show while switching between as many as six cameras with two DDRs, multi-channel effects and NewTek's proprietary LiveSet virtual sets.
For example, the Department of Homeland Security has been using the TriCaster for conferences, as described in Government Videohere.
"The NewTek TriCaster Upgrade Guarantee is put in place to eliminate customer concern that an upcoming model might be better suited for their portable live production needs," said Michael Kornet, chief marketing officer of NewTek. "Now, customers can make a smart investment in TriCaster and begin producing immediately, knowing that they have locked in full trade-in value on their current TriCaster, should they choose to trade up to a new model." ?
