Stealing sheep is no small matter in New Zealand, and in some region's it's reaching epidemic proportions, a local paper reports.

So, according to the Dominion Post, farmers are using cameras on roads and considering the use of mobile hidden cameras.

In one case, men were caught in a car with 14 hidden sheep. In the Hawke's Bay area, more than 300 sheep have been stolen this year, the paper reports.
