Folks who live near Tougaloo, Miss., can hear about it straight from the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., at a summit March 28

At the Small Business Summit at Tougaloo College, attendees will learn to navigate the DHS procurement process, meet prime contractors for potential subcontracting opportunities, and hear how to best position their company for business opportunities, according to an announcement from Thompson’s office.

It runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at the Owens Health & Wellness Center at the Kroger Gymnasium at the college.

Participating contractors include General Dynamics, General Electric, L-3 and Accenture.
