Tulsa, Okla.-based Lamar Systems has unveiled its first high-definition indoor robotic camera designed for broadcast studios, videoconferencing, distance learning, training and other applications.
It can have up to 10 PTZ pre-sets and captures in 1080p, 1080i, and 720p, supporting multiple output formats.

It can be controlled remotely up to 2,000 feet away or wirelessly with a 3-D desktop joystick controller. Lamar Systems is also introducing the Klearlink HD system for remote studio applications. This wireless backhaul system can be used to transmit and output HD-SDI video or optional ASI at distances to 32 kilometers (20 miles).
Lamar Systems also introduced the Hawkeye | HD PRO to its product line of HD PTZ cameras.
The 16:9 system boasts a 360° continuously rotating HD-SDI output via a newly developed fiber-optic system. The fiber optic output allows the HD-SDI receiver to be up to 20 kilometers (13 miles) away from the system.
It’s weatherproof and comes with a built-in ND filter.
