Another Christmas Bomb Target: A Speed Camera in Britain

Police in England are hunting for whoever attacked a speed camera with a bomb on Dec. 24, the Daily Mail is reporting.

According to the paper, residents in Eastleigh, Hampshire, were awakened at 2:30 a.m. by the explosion, which left camera parts strewn about.

Police are now checking some of the nation's vast network of CCTV cameras to find the bomber.

It's just the latest in series of vigilante-style attacks on the cameras in Britain, which has deployed the devices more aggressively than in the United States.
