Opus, a new multi-layer high-resolution mixer and seamless switcher from Analog Way, boasts three scalers, bringing features such as three picture-in-pictures, moving PiPs, a luma key, chromakey and more.

It debuted at InfoComm June 17-19 and brings high-level effects and performance along with ease of use for a variety of presentation applications. It has 12 inputs, including two DVIs and two SDIs.
It has two different modes of operation: multilayer mixer and 12x2 seamless matrix.
As a multilayer mixer, Opus used one output as a preview and the other for performance. It can display up to six layers (three live sources, one frame and two logos.) The live sources can be customized with a variety of effects.
In 12x2 seamless sync matrix mode, the switch among any of the 12 inputs can cut or fade and be synchronized on the two outputs. And the Opus is no slacker. It provides high-quality images with true 10-bit auto-adaptive pixel-by-pixel 3D motion compensating processing, de-interlacing, auto 3:2 and 2:2 reverse pulldown circuitry and more There’s an integrated 12x2 audio switcher, and the video output card provides formats from SD to Composite and HD SDI.
It can be controlled form its own panel or remotely.
