The Hubble telescope changed the way humans see the universe, and during the final mission to repair and rescue it, someone brilliantly thought of bringing along an IMAX 3D camera.

The result is IMAX: Hubble 3D, a documentary of the real-life adventure to save the telescope, and it may change the way we make movies about outer space.

From the looks of the trailer, this looks worth a trip to IMAX, with the universe, the Space Shuttle Atlantis and the seven astronauts the perfect subjects for 3D--in a real-life thriller.

Leonardo DiCaprio narrates. It opens March 19, 2010. There's plenty more info and video at www.imax.com/hubble.
