Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corp., released its “Sharp Digital Signage Software Pro,” the latest addition to its family of SDSS products.
The SDSS Pro is designed to meet the needs of large networks by providing an interface capable of managing up to 1,000 screens and distributing to remote screens without fixed Internet protocol addresses, SIIC says.
“We are dedicated to providing high quality, advanced technologies, which allow Sharp professional display dealers and distributors to better grow their businesses and serve their customers,” said Mike Marusic, SIIC’s senior vice president, marketing and business solutions group. “This latest addition to the SDSS product family is a great enhancement to any Sharp digital display system, and allows for a greater range of flexibility in managing large networks.”
SDSS Pro joins the family of products that includes SDSS Stand Alone, SDSS Network and SDSS Viewer SIIC says. The “stand alone” version enables users to create programs, timetables and schedules for distribution on the same PC or via USB, while the Network version allows for distribution via network for up to 100 screens, the company says.
