California Courts to Modernize With Video Tech and Chatbots

SAN FRANCISCO—California courts have made a discerned effort to bring their operations into the 21st century, recently issuing a series of recommendations to enhance the public’s access to the court system, according to a story from the San Francisco Chronicle. Among these proposals are the expanded use of video technology and developing chatbots to help answer questions. The proposals are expected to be ruled on this month by state Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye.
