Georgia State University Unwraps Panasonic Gear for New Media Institute

Cameras and display systems among gear put to use

ATLANTA—Christmas came early for Georgia Student University students and faculty who will be utilizing the brand new Creative Media Industries Institute with a slew of Panasonic equipment to unwrap.


CMII will train more than 4000 undergraduate students, including 1000 in film and television production majors. At their disposal will be Panasonic cinema cameras, including the AU-EVA1 5.7K handheld cameras and VariCam LT 4K cameras, both with HDR capability. Other cameras include the AG-UX180 UHD handhelds, AG-DVX200 4K 4/3-inch handhelds and the AJ-HPX380 AVC-Ultra shoulder mounts.

Additional gear from Panasonic will include the AV-HS450N multi-format switcher, 65-inch 1080p LCD displays and the PT-RZ970WU 10K lumen laser projector.
